Your decision should be made on which kit suits you best.

I am a mechanical engineer - and this has been the most annoying, frustrating yet enjoyable experience I have come across. I have made some great mates and along the way built a car too.

I just happen to know a couple of guys on the Northern Beaches that have built a car recently and could give you some good advice. I am sure they will pop up soon.

I am certainly bias, but take a look at the latest Classic Revival Kit, the LSX engines bold straight in and they have a quality chassis and body. If I were to build again that would be the one I would go with.
