Time to build some pipes to get the hot air out of the engine bay, even though there will be plenty in the driver area.
I only have limited space and it is not possible to fit factory or block huggers as far as I can tell.
Prices in Darwin for fabricating are fairly outrageous so I have decided to bite the bullet and have a go.
I should say at the outset that I am not a welders butt crack, so after doing some reading, I decided to buy a Henrob torch and learn how to use it.
For fusion welding it is a remarkably easy torch to use, except for the weight, so here is a step by step weld demo. Those that have skills can switch off now.
Tack weld to hold in place
Fusion weld the join by simply getting the two side of the metal to pool together, and just walk the pool around the seam.
Go back over it with some filler rod, the file/grind it flat and its done.
I will post some photos of the finished products when I've got them done.

Hogster
