The battery is fully charged. I have had the battery charge down pretty far and the fuel pump is a great giveaway on the state of the battery. The pump sounds great, and the battery is maintaining around 12.9. If the starter had juice, the thing would at least click.

The ignition switch is not original, I swapped it with a new one about two years ago. Never had a problem with it.

Can I just rip the alarm out, or is there some sort of procedure that needs to be followed? It was installed when I bought the car so I know nothing about it. I was going to start at where the noise(beeping, squwalking) comes from and follow the wires from there start removing everything. I am only concerned that if I mess with the wires around the ignition switch that I will through murphys law rip out something that is needed and then I will need to hire a pro.
