I think you need to stop using your father's log in and go to bed after the Simpsons young man. Only an imbecile would think that driving 85 in a 55 was ok in the traffic so I will just guess that you are about 14 and give you the benefit of the doubt . Big people know that speed differential is the most dangerous of all public road situations, so they avoid closing in quickly on people who just use cars to get from place to place and not as enhancements to cover their inferiority. By the way, Fitz failed to mention that the 55 zone is the construction area on the 101 and that to fight these things in court changes the rules if you are convicted. Instead of that tiny fine, they will give you the double fine construction zone thing and the points which they do not do if you just pay the thing and forget it. It is a business transaction , pure and simple. If it is you, just do something that doesn't happen too often any more - admit that they caught you and pay for your mistake...
