Sorry for your bitterness but you got to let go. Not healthy in the long run.
Tony probably saved open wheel racing from what it would have become had the owners of CART taken over, the American equivilent of F1 with drivers aimlessly for two hours following the first person to make turn 1 on lap 1.
He has tried to keep it from becoming a spec series but this year has been bad. In any event, he singlehandedly brought F1, NASCAR, and MOTO GP to Indy turning the track into a multifaceted venue with superb facilities. His firing had much more to do with the family finances than anything else. I agree he has the personality of a mud fence.
And if you want to talk vindictive, talk to Tony's sisters. Let's hope they don't ruin the track out of their concern for their endowment.
