I purchased my cobra from Perth and had it transported to Melbourne
- Depot drop off and pick up each end.
I used Jayde Transport

They were very helpful - my car had no brakes and it was not put on a car carrier but on a flatbed. Cost was $715 ($650 + GST) - c.2004
My memory is a bit vague here but I think that West-East is cheaper because more is imported to WA than exported (minerals notwithstanding).
