Your right LoBelly, West-East is always cheaper, most of it is backhaul.

When I moved to Sydney in 2003, FCL looked after me with Perth Depot in Welshpool to Sydney Depot in Sydenham in a closed container it was $500.

You drive your own car into the container, they have special wood chucks to stop the car moving around back-front and left-right. You can store as much in the car as you want, you get out and they lock the container and give you the key.

At the other end you get your container down and unlock it yourself, jump in the car and drive it away. Perfect service. Shame they got bought by Linfox and they canned the auto service...
