Evan, this has been discussed many times before but some time back, I think in 2008, Rick Kopec was quoted on the SAAC Forum stating that the registry expanded their database beyond the originals because ten or twenty years into the future these "similar" cars could very easily be renumbered as an original or owner unknown Cobra. SAAC put the 4000 series Cobras, and later, the Kirkhams in a separate section of the registry to keep them separate and distinct from the originals. Per Mr. Kopec that was their primary goal in including them in the registry, rather than ignoring them.

So, as always, I disagree with you and, as always, I got caught up in your nonsense.

I bought mine because I wanted an original and real Kirkham and that's what I got. I'm happy too.
