I won't even call them any more since they informed me that it would cost for any question that I asked. They will still load XP which was the deciding factor when I bought my laptop. I just don't like Vista. But that is my own opinion and many people love it.

Ron,
I don't have a choice, I MUST get one with XP and not Vista. Don't get wrong I hate Vista as well. It is a very poorly designed CPU Usage HOG.
Even if I could use Vista I would still not buy it, nor a PC with Vista in it. Why won't these Dumba$$ companies figure out they are loosing busines because of what they are pre-loading into their products.
Yea, yea, I know MS gives them a piece of the pie if they "recommend" Vista and money IS the bottom line, but they are loosing sales because of it.
Wouldn't they be better off letting the client choose what they want so they could sell more, rather than cramming Vista down your throat?
Their argument is: "Ms doesn't support XP any longer"
Who cares I don't need their stinking support. MS is so busy trying to fix the colossal screw-up they call Vista they do not have any resources left to do anything else.
