Okay team, here is the situation.
The CAM, valve seals, lifters, springs, push rods seals and gaskets are all new. SO is the brand of
oil filter.
I have 7 quarts of mobil1 15w-50 a 2 bottles of STP ( for the ZDDP ).
Why is the
oil pressure 20 pounds lower than before the CAM swap.
The only thing I can think of is the
oil filter, I have never used this brand before, or the CAM bearing to CAM clearance is too big.
Any other ideas why I am down 20 pounds?
I have swapped the oil out once with the same results. The lifters are solids where the old ones were hydraulics. This shouldn't make difference as I have the lifter valley restricted.
Can the oil filter be a POS?
