My 2-cents;

Obvious problem is ground clearance, especially with a 'dropped' floor pan, but I think that could be overcome. Second and in my opinion the biggest problem is the headers... I think you could still use the CR's headers but they would have to be very carefully modified. Even with that, the "suggested" 4 inch ground clearance would be cut to probably around 2 inches. ???

I'd like to try it once.......but no guarantees. Bending and fabricating the exhaust is the easy part! Making it legal with the exhaust pipes going over the rear axle would be a great challange for the best 'bender'!

BUT, if you could find a set of stock exhaust manifolds that would work in the extreme confines of the frame to motor area I think it could be done quite easily. I once gave consideration to using Explorer manifolds- they hug the block and transistion quickly to the exhaust pipes, but the owner of said car changed his mind and went with sidepipes.

No change needed!
