Really brought back memories as I grew up in Roanoke and used to go to the strip with a friend of mine . My memory isn`t all that clear , but it sure looks a lot like the strip that was out off of 220 going to Rocky Mount .
My friend had a 40 Ford with a blown Caddy engine for one of his cars , then went to a 57 FI Chevy ( seems the Govt people wanted his Ford ... something about hauling something he shouldn`t have ) .
That was where I first saw a rail job .... and boy have they changed .
