Default Polishing advice please.

As some of you may know I am in the process of polishing stripes into my aluminum body. The remainder of the car will be brushed. I have the 'C' and 'S' grade Nuvite polish, but can't seem to get a perfect finish. I am using a wool bonnet on a rotary polisher at grade 'C', and another 'clean' wool bonnet to give a finish with the 'S' grade however I'm just not progressing at all and after hours of working in the same areas, still have tiny almost hair line type scratches which I can't remove to get a deep clear finish. Can anyone give any advice on this. I'm literally going in circles, in fact the area on the nose seems to becoming more hazy the more I polish it. I initially started with quite a lot of the polish with the grade 'C' but have used less and less each application- then went the same way with the 'S' but I still can't get a perfect finish. Please help.

Many thanks

Gary
