Steve,

If you are looking at replacing the batteries in the golf cart be sure to stick
with the deep cycle batteries, which are made to be drained and recharged
many times - much heavier guts/lead plates. I don't think car batteries would
last long in that application. Same as not using a deep cycle battery in a car.
They are made for different applications - may work short term but not for
the long haul and could mess up the charger/alternator. IMHO
