One the health care system was a for profit institution long before Reagan. There were then and there still are NOW non-profit hospitals. Some planned and some just turned out to be non-profit.
Same as any other industry. Before Reagan, Medicare paid them both and they still do. If they are in the same geographical area, Medicare pays each the exact same amount for the same diagnosis.
There are also hundreds or thousands of medical corporations. Some chartered as for profit and some chartered as non-profit. They exist now and they existed before Medicare.
And the second thing is that Medicare part B has NOTHING to do with drugs.
Medicare part D written by the LIBERALS is the drug coverage you want to b!tch about. Part D is only a couple of years old. It is too new to have contributed to the overall problem. But it is a terrible program.
Please research beforehand and post something resembling a fact instead of liberal brainwashed BS.
