Mike, I got 54 MBsbll bla bla....
Had Qwest, which I like because I could see who was calling on my phone via the TV. Nice feature. It popped up and you could ignore.
I like Bob Bundle...
Two separate lines coming into the house. With all these companies you have to make sure your lines are up to date. Waiting until something goes wrong messes up your routine. Once per year I request them to come out and check incoming cable wire etc to the house.
I also have wireless in the house so I can sit anywhere and play. The Linksys box Is changed out once every 1-2 years just because. Use to have a lot of issues with COX few years back during weather but hardly any past few years.
Only issue I have with COX has to do with cell phone email. Have Alltel which is going over to Verizon so I had to create a gmail account on my PDA for outgoing email from my cell phone. Cox makes life difficult for the PDA guys if you want your email forwarded to your cell, which I do from work and personal. Blackberry would solve that issue.
Last thing I would say is when you have COX set your system up, have them do it. Talking with the technobunch can be a pain in the ass when there are issues. The COX guy can cut to the chase.
Up at the lake the only wireless people use is Verizon. You know the little plug in on your laptop. Think that is $25 Month. Also got Consumer Report Magazine and Verizon has all the home crap as well.
Phoenix Suns does not come across QWest. That was one of the main reasons I went to COX. They have all their games.
