Buddy,
I'm not sure how yours is installed (?) I'd guess you are going to have to pull the dash, OR at least get it loose to pull it out some. ??

Pulling it with dash installed seems a - to good to be true - scenario ?
Actually I don't think I have ever seen an evaporator under the dash?
