What's wrong with your premise is where corporate money influences politics, it is supposed to be we the people for the people, not we the corporation for the corporation.
How can the average person or persons ever attempted to compete with that kind of leverage, the founding fathers NEVER envisioned this kind of corporate tyranny, by law they were dissolved every 2 years in the time of the founding fathers, and if they were found to not benefit the nation they lost their corporate status. I do not object to corporations making a profit, it is what they are supposed to do, I object to their influence and the sneaky way they convince dumber then Joe the plumber types to vote against their own best interest using ginned up firms to sell snake
oil to the public. They should have no say in politics, just as religions should have no say in politics it should be in the best interest of the people not the corporations, not any one religion, no ware in the constitution does it say either should have any influence.
