Default Need to know length of pivot stud. Here is what I got

Hey guys,

Here is what I got:

351w
TKO 600 tranny (From Mike Forte)
Clutch (From Mike F as well)...Can't recall what it was
Steel lakewood bell housing. Color of it is red
the clutch fork has FORD stamped on it
A clutch quad from Mike Forte as well
The current stud is about 1 3/4 inches long

I measured the length from the Bell housing to the pressure plate fingers and it came to 4 inches.

I needed to replace the throw out bearing. I got the new bearing in and found out that the bearing isn't going far enough forward to touch the pressure plate fingers. I am assuming I need a longer pivot stud. The stud was a PITA to get out. I had to take the bell housing off to get to it.

How long of a pivot stud do I need so that when I press the clutch the clutch fork will press the Throw out Bearing against the the fingers of the pressure plate?
