I had SPF2103 with a roush 427 in it, a very nice and fast car, however, the Ford GT is in another league. The SPF is loud, leaks and hot, the GT is quiet, smooth, dry and cool. It is a much more predictable car to drive than the old technology of the GT40 and faster in most cases. It is much like the comparison between a quality cobra and a corvette ZR1. Having said that, I still have my CAV GT40 MK1 and have no intention of getting a Ford GT, I like the old school look.

I had a local guy that had an original GT40 drive my SPF and he said the two were very similar and is looking into buying an SPF.
