Well I think I may have found a better solution. Here are the steps I took.......
1. Took the drive shaft out
2. Took the TKO tranny out
3. Took off the Bell Housing
4. Took off the pivot stud using vise grips
5. Got a 3" carrige bolt and cut a slot where the threads begin for a screw driver
6. Installed the new bolt (btw it works much better than the stock pivot stud) flush with the bell housing
7. Put in a better quality throw out bearing
8. Installed the TKO and drive shaft
9. Adjusted the clutch cable using Fortes adjustable clutch quadrant.
Runs and shifts like a Champ now
Two days worth of work. I hope others might benefit from this post.
