Please do not grind/machine the wheels. There are only so many original wheels and if modified/damaged it would be a shame for the guy who may end up with them down the road and want to put them back on an original car. If the calipers are repro, it would be the lesser of the evils to grind them......or try spacers like Tom Kirkham suggests.
