I am not a big fan of spacers. It is important that a spacers does not act like a thrust washer-- allowing the rim to turn relative to the hub. This is even more important when the wheel is attached with a mono-nut. Ron 2 5/16 inches is a lot. I would be very nervous making a spacer that thick let alone driving on it.
