As far as legal concealed carry that is not really the issue here, unless you "flaunt it" which I guess is your right as well. As I understand this issue there was a guy carrying an assault rifle (M-16 type weapon?), "open carry", no permit required. At a Presidential type rally, as a "protest" of some kind, I guess! Thank you, the issue is not concealed weapons. I suspect Scott the Mayor could have legally brought a AR-15 to the town meeting and laid it on his desk or whatever for all to see . What I want if to know is if Republicans or Democrates for that matter think that is a good idea. That would give me a idea about their values and judgment. I want them to speak up...let us know where they stand... I don't see anything sinister in that.
