I am NOT a good neighbor. I have a big cam and custom exhaust on my big block. It's real loud - even for Cobras. I start it in the garage (echoy in there too) and let her idle a bit in the driveway to get that
oil moving around that large engine. Then I pull away slowly. You can hear ever stroke of the cylinders clearly and loudly. I don't mind the early morning drive or pulling in at midnight.
My daily driver is a Yukon with custom dual exhaust - noisy too. In fact, when I was taking my daughters to school every morning, the across the street neighbor said they didn't need to use an alarm clock anymore - because my truck woke them up (on time) every morning.
So, NO I'm not a good neighbor. I'm a GREAT neighbor since I don't call the police on their constantly barking (and crapping in my yard) dogs or call City Hall on their over gown yard ( I mean weeds).
Plus, isn't a big block firing up universal music known the world over?
