Let me add that costs on these cars tend to "creep up on you." Regardless of what manufacturer or engine you choose, there will always be something more you can add on to it, or move up to the next step on it. You don't want to go broke, so my advice is to figure out what you feel comfortable paying (that means everything, even down to the trucking cost to get it sent to you) and then work backwards from that number to get as much as you can -- and don't leave anything out (cost wise). Once you've done that then you can begin to "pick and choose" what lesser cost options you might live with now, and upgrade later. Simple example: You might love the tripod bulbs, but you'll live with $10 bulbs for now and switching them out is nothing. Contrast that with the incremental cost of, say, a limited slip, and the PITA factor of putting it in later -- you might decide on that one that you're better off springing for it now.
