Great info...thank you so much...and thanks to Peter Bayer for sharing his memories. I believe Peter really sweated the details and "noodled" over the important stuff to make the best car he could for the period, and now we own a classic that has weathered the test of time and has a history to "back in the day". I love reading all of the old magazines that actually test Contemporarys and document their amazing performance. Most of the later kits don't look right, don't drive right, and have no "soul". I grin every time I look at mine, and truly believe us Contemporary owners have a special car!
