The most famous race colour scheme was the "Essex Wire" sponsored Cobra which was White with a Black single large stripe with red borders.
I dont think there is such a thing as an original colour scheme for the first run of cobras some were unpainted others had single colours as these cars were never designated for the road, the blue/white stripes was a road going scheme to try and get rid of surplus competition cars.
