No choice really as the damage wasn't near enough to total it. The frame extensions (crumple zone) are bent, and will be replaced. This is the reason I have it at the shop it is at. The guys insurance adjuster asked my buddy, "Can't you just straiten them?" Marc responded No, if this is how you fix cars, you can get back in your car and send someone else out. We are not Service King, we do not take shortcuts. The guy tried to argue that other shops would do that, and kept pushing for it. Marc told the guy that he is not going to do it, it goes against every ICAR standard and he wants to push it, he will report him to the state commission for wanting to put a car on the road that was not repaired correctly. The guy then backed down. I figured that would happen, it always seems to.
