Ah yes, maybe I should have went with the big bore CSX block.
It acually calculates to be 526.16 c.i., but most call it 527...I guess in comparison to 427? I call it a 526.

I have one...and love it. Rediculous amount of torque...and when you hear it, there's no doubt it's a big block.

The first time I heard it run was on the engine dyno at Performance Engineering. Totally intimidating!

I remember asking Eric after he shutoff the engine: "Do you think maybe I've overdone it?"

His reply: "I've built a lot of engines, but I can't remember anyone coming back and asking if I can de-tune it a little."
