You guys continue to amaze me with the micro-level nitpicking.
The main cross-member in the front of the engine is arguably the primary reason why the radiator is angled the way it is. I don't go sticking my head into the front ends of other Cobras that often, so I honestly don't "notice" this subtlety (although when looking at the naked Superformance frame posted above it's more readily apparent)
As for the pedals being
hung versus floor mounted, I actually like it better. It gives a place to wedge my size 12's
under the clutch and brake pedals when I'm cruising for distances on the freeway, creating more leg/stretch room for my 6'3" frame.
Back on topic...the ERAs are really nice cars. IF I ever swap out my SPF, it would either be in that direction or a Kirkham. Love my SPF but the bodies on the ERA and Kirkham are dimensionally closer to the real deal. That being said, most people I run into think
my car is the real deal, so 99.99% of Joe Public couldn't tell the difference. And none have remarked about my wrong facing radiator (yet).
