Just a heads up.
Cal Trans is doing some roadwork on Hwy 17 Northbound (towards Los Gatos) just outside of Scotts Valley. A section of the road is very rough with lots of small rocks getting thrown up.
Hopefully, they will pave it in the next day or so, but be cautious if you are going to take that route home.
