Mine too is a fairly mild build. (trying for 450-475HP)
I went with a C6ME block and bored it .030 over had the head surfaces decked to a min. the stock crank teardroped and grinded to .010 on the mains and the rods. And internaly balanced to 0. The stock rods were reconditioned with ARP bolts. Sil-v-lite pistons approx 10-1 compression with edelbrock #6006 heads. Harland sharp Roller rockers with billet end stands & spacers.
Ford SVO pushrods, Edelbrock true roller timing chain set, crane
anti pump up lifters, fel-pro gaskets through out. Port match the intake to the heads. ARP everything! (exept the mains)
Ultradine cam with a duration at .050 intake 221 & exhaust 221 gross valve lift .533 intake and .533 exhaust. A Original '66 FOMOCO 2X4 Med riser intake. cobra 427 alumin. valve covers. That is about it for now but I have a lot planned for it as soon I can save the $$.
