I think the issue with the CSX is about final assembly more than any other issue. Like when AC was builing them, various sources for the parts and a LOT of "in house". In the end, clearly and solidly an AC product. A little fuzzy on some CSX builds in that regard...
Some years ago one of our members had a Kirkham and all though the details remain fuzzy at some point that car was able to secure a CSX number. OK, interesting turn of event's, a car worthy of carrying the name certainly. But it does leave one scratching his head.
In another case individual parts and pieces were purchased, not always directly through Shelby, and the car was "home built",,, just a bit of a head scratcher.
Will RodKnocks car, at some point in it's life time, come to bear a CSX number? Couldn't rule it out...
