I've never done a 1/4 mile drag test, so I havn't got a clue about it. However I did find a little formula for estimating a 1/4 mile ET based on weight and Hp. For a Cobra with driver and gas at 2750 lbs and a lightly modified FE at 450 hp, I get 10.65 seconds.

Of course, as per the posts above, I'm sure traction plays a huge picture. Didn't see any wheelspin in the video though.

I wouldn't compare any non-road car that has to be trailored to the track. That's obviously not fair. But I suspect the video poster drove his Mustang there.

Anyway, the embarassment wasn't meant to be viewed from Cobra owners in general, just the club that invited the Mustang guy to their event. His Mustang sure made an impressive jump off the start though.

I do admit to enjoying those videos where the CObra out-runs the Viper and another one where it outruns a new Corvette.
