My pan is 7qt for the pan, 8qt for the system (although prob more than that with the oil left in the oil cooler and lines, not sure how much that takes up). I can put a ruler across the pickup and measure the distance from the ruler to the block. The pan is 6 inches deep so I just need to add the windage tray and gasket thinkness to that. Should give me a reasonable idea of how close I am.
