There was commentary on the news up here after this was announced. Basically the report said that this was the first ever Nobel Peace Prize given to someone who hoped to achieve peace rather than to someone that had done something to actually achieve peace.

While the jury is still out, let's hope that they do not regret giving BO this prize.
