If you're not into building a car particularly and want to buy a "pre-loved" example, there are two that I know of that you'd be
very happy with:
1) Spookypt's black Harrison powered by a strong Lexus motor. Absolutely stunning car, looks and sounds wonderful.
2) Phil Neall's Chev powered CR. Super quick, proven performer. The Classic Revival kits are highly regarded, and this particular car is a standout at the Nationals every year.
They're both black and neither has the Ford power you're leaning towards but they are both terrific cars, complete, proven, registered and ready to go. Good luck trying to choose between them!
