I don't think he will be removed from office, but I do hope that this whole circus results in all candidates are required by law to present whatever required proof of legal ability to run for what ever office they are running for to the public. This should be from President down to local officials. If it is against the law to be mayor when you have a felony, you must present your entire criminal record to the public. President would have a lot of material to present before running, but it comes with the territory.

The reason I don't think he will be removed is the State of Hawaii has gone on official record stating the the original does exist in Hawaii. This case is effectively challenging a State Law, but not attacking the State, so even if it is not legitimate, Obama's team will have that State declaration on their side.
