Kind of a delayed followup, but I thought I'd tack onto this thread instead of starting a new one. I need a supply of touch-up basecoat and clearcoat - first to fix a small scrape on the
oil cooler shroud, and then to have on hand. I ass/u/me the original owner got some touch-up paint but it didn't make it to me, and would be ~3 years old anyway.
So I looked online and found this place:
www.paintscratch.com. Searching did no good, but I looked through the paperwork and found the original body shop invoice, with a paint ID sticker attached. I entered the code (610.600) and back came the match for Lamborghini Titiano. (Which is kind of cool because the car was sold to me as being "Lamborghini Silver"... it's actually "Lamborghini Titanium"!)
I suppose any local auto paint shop could do the job as well but if you don't have a quality supplier handy, or like the convenience of email, these guys are out there. 2 ounces of base plus two ounces of clear plus a couple of minor things plus shipping was $42 or so.
