6" is fine - 2 layers of mesh?
2 layers for slab on ground? Where would the tensile force on the top fibres come from? Usually that is used for suspended slabs and on ground designs with dodgy founding soil or funky loading. Residential garage slabs are usually only one layer. You must be used to the bigger stuff!

One layer of F92 plus the stuff in the footings.
With F92 mesh and 150mm thick that is easily stong enough for your little daytona.. Unless you and Doug are planning on building a semi also?
