In previous post above got me confused. I don't understand if you shreaded your distributor gear, how can you just changed it out on the road without being concerned about the little pieces that may have fell into the motor? I'm puzzled by that statement.....
The same thing happened to me and we had to practically rebuild the motor to insure all those little parts were flushed out..
Help me here to understand that?
