In the interest of "selling" the car idea to the wife, so that "we" could use it. I had a second roll bar installed. Once we got rolling the problem of wind came up, I continued to get the "go slower my hair is getting messed up". I have tried the hair ties and ball caps (which tended to depart around 90mph). I made some of mesh wind screens to try to keep her happy. I don't really know if it changes the wind that much BUT it does make her happier/quieter, so it works for me!
They were pretty simple to make just got some mesh netting, 1" trim and put some weed wacker line around on the inside of the trim to keep the shape tight. Put on some velco to make it easy to remove.
