the cam card does not say what the firing order is so i imagine it is the stock fe type. any thoughts?
Your firing order will be the standard FE order as determined by your CAM. You will wire your distributor (at the cap) to support the standard FE firing order as well. If your mass flo system uses port injection, you may need to adjust your injector wiring to match the FE firing order. The first thing you should do is contact mass flo and see if they have already made this adjustment for you and, if not, how you should go about making the adjustment. If you need to make a change and you can do this in mass-flo's computer, that would be the simplest way to do it. If you cannot change the firing order in the computer, you can change the wiring to the injectors to match the FE firing order. If you bought your system from mass flo for an FE motor, chances are good that they have already taken care of this problem for you.
