My carb linkage is connected to the lower front hole. I just did a test and with the pedal on the floor, the carb hits WOT just short of bottoming out.

So, it sounds like I need to work with the two primary adjusting rods to see if I can lower the pedal height while maintaining the upper and lower limits.

Are you guys running a spring on the pedal? My car has a spring on the pedal , but it's my understanding that some people don't use it (they just rely on a double carb spring).
