Default Cobra safety

A Cobra is probably one of the most dangerous vehicles you could have in terms of occupant protection. This assumes you do not have a full roll cage with side impact bars and a fuel cell. The structure is so poor that you will be seriously injured or worse in any crash of a substantial nature with another vehicle.
I would be far more worried about that than roll over protection, since roll over is almost always related to driver error and you can control that by not taking unnecessary risks.
