Regardless of the dimensions of the Ranger 8.8, it does not have the bracketry needed for a Mustang four link set up as it is leaf springs. The cost of buying a good Ranger rear and transfering those brackets to the Ranger rear end would probably be about the same as or more than just having your existing rear end narrowed.
