Default October 24th N. GA Mountain cruise

We're still planning on a cruise on the 24th, no UGA game, Tech is away. Time/ location TBA, would plan on a meeting either in Flowery Branch on I-985 at Exit 16, then further rendezvouz with rest of people in Clarksville. More details as this firms up.

Also, supposed to be nice weather for the Fall vintage race at Road Atlanta, Friday-Sunday this weekend.

This sounds good. I've taken the last couple of North GA cruises with some of the guys from the FFCobra website. Good group of guys. Did you want to open this up to everyone?

Default Cruise

All our Fall cruises are open to any/all Cobras, the more the merrier. Only had 2 Superformances last year, the prior two years, we had good cruises with 15-20 Cobras. Rob Ginn and I are the "odd men out", we've got Shelby GT350's.

Weather permitting, which it should be, folks can meet me at I-985, Exit 16, head east towards Road Atlanta, turn right after 1/2 mile at Blackshear Church and then left into the Publix parking lot and I'll be in front of the Ace Hardware, 67 GT350, blue/white. Look to leave there around 9am, to head up I-985 to Clarksville, for those who go a different way, meet at the Ingles, Hwy 197/Hwy 441 intersection. Figure to gas up in Clarksville before meeting at the Ingles. Rob Ginn laid out a great drive last year, and he promises another great tour for us as he's got a lot of road knowledge.

If anyone plans on coming, just chime in on this post so we have an idea of the number of cars, so far there is 3, possibly 4 cars. For those who are looking to race around, we really don't do that, we go at a "spirited" pace for safety and fun.

If the weather is really looking ratbag, we'll try again on Sunday.

The wife and I will aready be in the mountains when you all meet up. If I was going to be here I would definitely be in for a ride. You're in my neck of the woods.
There's going to be some of us up on The Tail of the Dragon Saturday. If you make it that far I hope to see you.

Default Move to Sunday

The weather forecast is very iffy for Saturday, so moving this back a day to Sunday, same times/locations. Sunday is supposed to be 70 and sunny.

Sunday sounds good. Count me in. That is as long as you don't mind having a rookie tag along.

We'll see you Sunday. Looks like an FFR, 2 SPF's, you and 2 Shelby GT350's so far are confirmed. Weather should be great.

Default Cruise

Sorry to hear, we had a great day, door to door about 240 miles and 3 states! The foliage was beautiful, traffic not too bad, and weather perfect. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...Fall%20Cruise/
