Went to a small car show today in Gainesville, then drove over to Dawsonville. Yesterday went to Road Atlanta, saw a few old friends from DFW area. Where are all the Cobra guys hiding? Matt looks like we need to start a Atlanta area member list or does someone already have a current list of Cobra owners? Does anyone have any plans for driving or am I the only guy enjoying the beautiful weather? db

Don,
I know of two members. That would be you and I. Two and counting. I know that there are others that are just as enthusiastic but the season might be over for them or other interests have their attention. Lets keep the faith. I am willing to do whatever it takes to support a club physically or financially. I'm all in.
What a wonderful weekend. Drove both Sat and Sun. Took a wonderful ride up to Dalton today, Rocky Face to be exact. Im a member of a golf club there, The Farm, played 18 alone in 2 1/2 hrs and drove back the long way. Couldn't help myself as I let it out a few times on the way back. The faster she goes the more she likes it.
I'll be in touch this week and we can discuss a possible approach to gather up the gang and organize. You have all the experience with the Texas group, maybe some of the events that were successful there would work for us here.
If that doesn't work you and I will tear the hell out of it going forward.
Matt

I post events and cruises and driving tours and no one shows up other than the usual 4 people, 2 of us with GT350's (used to be the local SPF dealers) and 2 with SPFs. It's not for a lack of trying....

The FFCobra Forum is very active....we would be glad to have you join us for rides. We do not care what kind of car you have as long as you want to have some fun. The rides are usually posed on the "Southeast" section.....

Look forward to meeting you. I am putting on a car show this Sat if you would like to come. There will be some other Cobra folks there as well. Look for the thread "Atlanta I-CAR Fall Festival".(Under SE Section on FFCobra)
I even bet Tony Radford will show up...after all it is at Hooters in kennesaw.....

I will put it on the schedule as well. We just did a Harley ride a few weeks ago for the USO to support the troops and ended the ride at this same Hooters. Just a thought but when its time to eat lets go up the road to Old Town Grill, much better food (Hooters has the worst food in the country) and if you've never been there the waitress staff aint bad to look at.
Just a thought????

Mine has been on jack stands until yesterday. I needed to overhaul the trac-lock, replace pads/rotors on the rearend, and take care of a few suspect brake lines. I am back on the road but am leaving for sales kickoff in Orlando.

I-Cars at Hooters in Marietta(listed elsewhere in this subforum) should be a blast, and will be well attended by Cobra owners.

Old Town is great, but my vote is for Tilted Kilt!

Good time Saturday !

Don, Matt (and others...) it was great to meet you and I am looking forward to getting our ATL area crowd more hooked-up with one another.

I bet we could pretty easily get a 30+ car ride together for next Spring.

Gerry....great show ! Bob...enjoy Florida !

Take it easy guys !
