Sorry if this gets posted all the time. I am a (slightly-ashamed) owner of a SPF that needs some work. Does anybody have any recommendations for a good mechanic / garage to do some work?

There are a lot of good reputable mechanics out there just tell us where you are at and we can point you in the right direction. Also, you might mention what your concerns are and what level of mechanic you need.
